A Belgian national was detained in Turkey today along with two Syrians. Ahmet Dahmani is a 26 year old Belgian of Moroccan origin. According to Dogan news agency, Ahmet is suspected of reconnaissance work and choosing the places in Paris that bore the brunt of IS attack on 13th November.

Ahmet was captured in Anatlya, the place where just last week the international G-20 summit was held. Ahmet arrived at Anatlya via air on 16th November and was under constant surveillance from Turkish authorities. He was nabbed with two Syrians tasked with providing fake passport to Dahmani who would have then crossed the border to reach ISIS strongholds in Syria.
