Indian PM Narendra Modi arrived in Malaysia to take part in the 13th Asean-India summit. During a photo session with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, the cameras caught the Indian tri-color hoisted upside down in the background, the green segment at the top and the saffron segment at the bottom. This picture has obviously created an uproar inciting questions such as how can a mistake like this take place at an important summit such as this and how come none in PM Modi’s entourage noticed this mistake.
Official sources claimed, “It was an inadvertent mistake in the rush of things. It was unfortunate.” The mix up has not dampened the spirit of the meet though as the PM gears up to attend the East-Asia summit and the Asean-India summit.
