Today’s match between FC Goa and Kerala Blasters bode different significance to each of the teams. While Goa was looking to secure a spot on the semifinals, the Blasters were trying to break out of the bottom spot. In the end, Zico’s team completely dominated Trevor Morgan’s team to become the third team to reach semifina. Goa’s Brazilian striker Reinaldo scored a fine hat-trick in the process while Joffre and Mandar Desai scored the other two goals.

The match, however, started with the Blasters scoring in the second minute via Pulga. Goa equalized 10 minutes later through Joffre and never looked back. Blasters were reduced to 10 men at the start of second half when their midfielder Josu was red carded. After this loss Kerala Blaster’s chances to enter the play-offs are practically over.
