ISl – Channiyin FC Defeat FC Pune City 1 – 0, Secure Semifinal Spot

In their last group stage match of ISL 2015, Chennaiyin FC needed a win to ensure semifinal birth and they did just that by edging past FC Pune City by the slimmest possible margin. The game looked headed for a draw until Channaiyin striker Jeje slotted through the bottom right corner.

After this win Chennaiyin join Delhi Dynamos, Atletico De Kolkata and FC Goa in the semis. Due to yellow cards, Chennaiyin’s Mehrajuddin Wadoo and Elano will miss the crucial first leg in the semifinal. Pune reamains in the sixth spot in this year’s IPL.
