Stoke City Defeat Manchester United 2 – 0, Louis van Gaal In Deep Trouble

Manchester United’s Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal’s EPL woes continue to pile up as Manchester United were defeated at Stoke today by a margin of 2 – 0. Once again, none of the Man U players clicked while Stoke City made the best of their opportunities. This is the 4th consecutive defeat this season for the 137 year old club and this is the first time it has happened in 54 years.

Man U started the game with Wayne Rooney on the bench. Stoke City took the lead early on the 19′ minute via Bojan Krkic. Marko Arnautovic scored on the 26′ minute to make the scoreline 2 – 0. Arnautovic came close to scoring his second just before halftime but shot wide. With this loss, Man U are at sixt on the points table.

Manchester United coach Louis Van Gaal left a press conference prematurely on Wednesday when asked about hs=is future at Man U. A win today could have given his career at his present club a boost. Currently speculations of Jose Mourinho replacing him at Manchester United are running high.
