Royal Enfield Bullet Electra 500 To Hit India Mid 2016

Royal Enfield Bullet 500’s electric version is all set to launch in India in the middle of 2016. The current version of Bullet available in India is 346 CC with Twinspark four-stroke single cylinder air cooled engine. It has five speed transmission with maximum torque of 28Nm and maximum power of 19.8 bhp. The improved version will have┬ásingle cylinder four-stroke 499 CC electric engine. Along with five speed transmission, it will improve the maximum torque of 40.9 Nm and maximum power of 26.1 bhp.

Plans of launching this bike earlier took a hit when the Chennai flood stalled production in the Royal Enfield factory. Apart from the brand new engine, the bike will also have new tyres, a new air filter box, different chrome fenders, stylised taillights and more colour ranges.
