Sania-Hingis Move To Australian Open Pre-Quarterfinals

Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis easily subdued the Ukranian twins Lyudmyla Kichenok and Nadiia Kichenok to move into the pre-quarterfinals of Australian open. The Indo-Swiss pair blasted past their opponents 6-2, 6-3. With this win Sania and Martina extend their unbeaten streak to 32. In the next round they will face Svetlana Kuznetsova and Roberta Vinci.

It was a good day for Sania all-round as she also advanced to the pre-quarter in mixed doubles with her Croatian partner Ivan Dodig. Sania and Ivan overpowered the Australian duo of Ajla Tomljanovic and Nick Kyrgios by 7-5 6-1. They meet Yaroslava Shvedova and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi in the next round.
