India women’s cricket team raced past Australia’s score of 140 to set a record win in their inaugural T20I match in Adelaide. Winning the toss, India captain Mithali Raj sent Australia into bat and they lost 2 quick wickets at the top. But a strong 36 from opener Beth Mooney and a late flurry of 41 from Alyssa Healy propelled Australia to 140/5 in their 20 overs. Indian leggie Poonam Yadav picked up 2 for 26 while Jhulan Goswami, Shikha Pandey and Anuja Patil picked up one wicket each.
