Novac Djokovic improved his tally against Roger Federer to 23-22 as he reached the 6th Australian Open final of his career. Playing at the Rod Laver arean today, Djokovic took early lead of 2 sets before Federer bounced back by claiming the 3rd set. But as Djokovic clinched the 4th set, Federer’s hopes of winning another grand slam was denied yet another time. Federer has not won a grand slam since 2012 but he definitely looked in better form in this edition of Australian Open.
Earlier Djokovic had said he would have to be a ‘man’ to defeat Federer and he did just that. Apart from the 3rd set, he always looked in control. The Serbian will now face the winner of Milos Raonic and Andy Murray in the final.
