Indian low cost airlines Spicejet are about to increase charges for cancellation, revisions and pre-booked excess baggage from today 1st February, 2016. Previous charges for cancelling domestic and international flights were 1,800 and 2,250 INR which have been revised to 1,899 and 2,349 INR respectively. Cancellation and revision timelines have also been reduced. From today onward, cancellation and revision will only be registered 2 hours prior to domestic flights and 4 hours before international flights.
On the other hand, pre-book excess baggage fee is hiked to 990 INR for 5 KGs and 1,750 INR for 10 KGs. Earlier prices were 900 INR and 1,600 INR respectively.
