61st Birthday Of Steve Jobs, ‘Father of the Digital World’

60 years ago on this very day of 24th February in 1955, a boy was born and adopted by  Paul Reinhold Jobs in San Francisco Bay. The boy would later grow up to found Apple Inc., Pixar Animation Studios and NeXT inc. yes we are talking about Steven Paul Jobs or Steve Jobs. Considered a cult figure among technophiles, Steve is credited with bringing a personal touch to digital world and making computer systems beautiful.

Apple’s iPhone and Macintosh computers continue to woo millions around the world. Apple claimed a large share of the smartphone market thanks to its powerful iOS operating system and a beautiful user interface. Apple’s iPod line of portable music players became the industry standard before other digital manufacturers came up with similar devices. A number of digital inventions such as MAC OS X which was re-branded from NeXTSTEP. Steve Jobs died from pancreatic cancer on 5th October, 2011.
