According to a report published on the Al Sumariya tv channel in Iraq, ISIS founder and leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and several other ISIS leaders have been injured in a coalition airstrike. The strike was carried out near Iraq – Syria border in the Nineveh province. The report claims that international coalition had information about a meeting at a ISIS headquarter in that area where ISIS leaders arrived from Iraq.
News of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s injuries and death have been spread before but none has been confirmed. The only conformed news about his injury was when he was hurt by an airstrike in 2015 and started receiving treatment for spinal damage. Reports claim that the ISIS leader is incapable of movement due to this injury. The coalition has refused make a comment on this report.
