Teens Use Pokemon Go To Rob Gamers In US

Four teens have been apprehended for using the new smartphone game “Pokemon Go” to rob at least 12 people in Missouri, US. This Pokemon game has been popular from the onset as it shows gamers Pokemons at various part of their city and encourages them to collect the Pokemons.

The robbers used this game to place a beacon near a secluded area through the game. The beacon denotes a location where potentially rare Pokemons can be found. Once gamers visited the place, they were robbed off their belongings. Police got a call regarding the robbery and arrested the 4 perpetrators who are aged 16 to 18. Police officers had to learn the game in order to understand the “Modus Operandi”.
