Ghost hunter Gaurav Tiwari’s life will now be on celluloid, thanks to Vikram Khakhar. The 32 year old founder and CEO of Indian Paranormal Society was found dead in the early morning of 7th July in the bathroom. The former commercial pilot quit his job and founded the paranormal society in 2009. Till then he has visited over 6,000 haunted houses in order to debunk the presence of ghosts. he also organised conducted tours of haunted houses.
Gaurav was married in January this year. His wife said Gaurav had mentioned about a paranormal force disrupting his life but she ignored it. Police believes the death is related to family disputes rather than paranormal activities. According to his colleagues, Gaurav wanted to make a movie about ghosts. Gaurav was also contracted to start TV series about ghosts the shooting of which was to start today, 15th July.
Vikram Khakhar said he met Gaurav in 2014 and is currently writing screenplay of Gaurav’s biopic. This Bollywood movie will be a remake of 2013 Hollywood paranormal movie “Oculus”. The Bollywood version will be called “XXX Case Files.” Vikram said, “Gaurav was a brave guy. I never thought he could have committed suicide.”
