India’s gymnastics sensation Dipa Karmakar is having a hard time maintaining the BMW SUV gifted by Sachin Tendulkar. She has contacted BMW for a suitable replacement. She is finding it difficult to drive the car by herself. Rumours were spread that Dipa was selling off the SUV. Sachin Tendulkar gifted a BMW each to Dipa, Sakshi Malik, Pullela Gopichand and PV Sindhu after the Rio Olympics.

Dipa’s father Dulal Karmakar rubbished the rumours saying they are only looking for suitable replacement. He said that the roads of Agartala are not good enough for a BMW and there are no service centres of BMW in Tripura as well. Hence they have requested the company for equivalent amount of any. Dipa will use the money to buy a car of her choice from Agartala.
