Lufthansa Bans Samsung Galaxy Note 7 From All Flights Worldwide

German carrier Lufthansa has banned the ill-reputed Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from all of its flights. Earlier it had banned the phone only in flights from and to the US. The phone has been in constant infamy since its introduction as many of the units worldwide burst or burnt down while charging or kept switched on.

Samsung recently provide replacement units to a large number of users in the US but the replacements also started showing the same problems. Finally Samsung scrapped the Galaxy Note 7 altogether. Lufthansa confirmed the ban in a statement saying, “Transport of the devices is forbidden on all flights, both in checked bags and in hand luggage.”
