David Bowie Posthumously Nominated For BBC Music British Artist Of The Year Award

British pop legend David Bowie, who died in January this year, has been posthumously nominated for British Artist of the Year award at BBC Music Awards. He has tough competition from the likes of Jess Glynne, Coldplay, Adele and Calvin Harris who have also been shortlisted. The final awards will be unveiled on 12th December at ExCel.

David Bowie’s last album “Blackstar” was poised to be nominated for Album of the Year award but was sidelined by a slew of other albums. Bowie will have tough competition from Adele who won the British Artist of the Year award in 2015 as well. In his illustrious 5 decade career, David Bowie won a huge number of accolades including his induction in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 1996.
