PlayStation 4 Completes Sale Of 50 Million Units Worldwide

Sony PlayStation 4 sales crossed a vital checkpoint of 50 million units yesterday establishing its strength in the video games console market. The sales figure includes both PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro. This formidable showing will give Sony a lot of boost considering the fact that they have been under a lot of pressure of Microsoft XBOX One. In fact XBOX has outsold PlayStation 4 in the last few months in US.

The sales were jacked up thanks to a very strong Black Friday sale. Part from the consoles Sony has also sold 370 million digital and physical software units. PlayStation 4 had crossed the 40 million units mark in May, 2016. Sales have been boosted by the introduction of PS4 Pro on 10th November which is a upper version of PlayStation 4.
