5 Year Old Terminally Ill Fan Wins EPL MOTD2 Goal Of The Month Award

5 year old Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery, who has been suffering from Neuroblastoma, a terminally ill cancer, has been declared joint winner of the Match of the Day Goal of the Month award alongside Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Manchester United. During a warm up match against Chelsea on 14th December, Sunderland pitched the 5 year old who score from the spot to give his side a 1-0 lead.

Bradley was diagnosed with cancer in 2013. More than 700,00 pounds were raised for his treatment. The donations included 200,000 pounds from Everton. Hiss cancer however spread and the treatments cannot provide him with full recovery. Little Bradley also received more than 250,000 greeting cards this Christmas but his best Christmas present is undoubtedly the award bestowed upon him fans of the game.
