Jawans Can Directly Address Their Grievances To MHA Via A New App

National News, News

Looking at some of the recent incidents of jawans taking to the social media to make their grievances public, Ministry of Home Affairs launched a new app to take care of the problem. According to Home minister Rajnath Singh, jawans are now “just a click away” from letting their grievances known to the MHA. He also mentioned that he would personally review the dashboard each month and take status of grievances taken care of.

While launching the app, Rajnath Singh said, “The paramilitary jawans are very disciplined. They never voice their concerns out of turn but I realised they need a platform to air their grievances. Their working conditions are very difficult like in Chhatisgarh they live under tin shed and yet take part in operations with full vigour.” Addressing the issue of internet connectivity at many remote areas where jawans are stationed, Mr. Singh said, “It is true that in certain areas mobile connectivity is zero but whenever the jawan goes on leave or comes to a network area he can use the app.”
