Malaysian Sultan Gifted Fred Flintstone’s Car, With A Modern Twist

What a birthday gift it is! Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar of Malaysia may have thought as he received his belated birthday present from Pahang Crown Prince’s office at Johor Bahru. The sultan who has a knack for collecting unusual cars got a lifesize replica of Fed Flintstone’s pre-historic stone age car. So happy was he that his official Facebook page exclaimed “Yabba Dabba Do!”, Fred Flintstone’s signature catchphrase. The car would be immediately recognisable to everyone who caught a glimpse of the “The Flintstones” as a kid.

But unlike being propelled by their feet, the Sultan can easily drive this fantasy car thanks to the modern era edition of a motor. Apart from the motor, rest of the car is exactly like the vehicle Fred and Bernie used to drive around throughout the cartoon series. The Sultan has a diverse collection of cars and this one, no doubt, would be a cherished possession of his.
