A complaint has been filed against Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan for singing the National Anthem incorrectly before the India Pakistan World T20 match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The complaint was filed at New Ashok Nagar police station, Delhi by short filmmaker Ullhas PR. Mr. PR had earlier lodged complaint against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan for his comment on intolerance in India and for calling police personnel ‘thulla’ in his movie ‘PK’.
In this latest complaint, Mr. Ullhas mentions that Amitabh Bachchan took 1 minute and 10 seconds to finish the National Anthem while the mandated time is 52 seconds. Mr. Bachchan allegedly said ‘Sindhu’ instead of ‘Sindh’. While most observers had noticed that Mr. Bachchan went over by some seconds while singing the national anthem, Mr. Ullhas is the first person to take any legal step against him.
