Apple Misses Being The First Trillion Dollar Company By A Whisker

Apple came mighty close to being the first Trillion dollar company on 3rd November as a more than 3% jump in its share prices brought the company to a valuation of 900 Billion USD. Apple’s shares have grown by 32% since 2016 and the introduction of new iPhone X gave the company a further boost. They may have missed the mark by a whisker but may soon achieve what many think is the holy grail of a business.

Since 2016,  Apple has grown by 203 Billion USD which is the entire value of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer. The Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus also contributed to this growth as they became Apple’s highest selling products of all time. CEO Tim Cook said in an interview that these two models brought significantly higher than expected earnings. The magic of iPhone X has just started and it might make Apple the first Trillion USD company by March 2018.
